Poor Reliability

Great depth finder. Better than my $500 Lowrance for showing depth and activity below my boat. But over the last 4 years I have had two t box units fail. Vexilar replaced first free, but now the second unit has failed. Very disappointing

Use with my Navonic's app on my iPad. Works great.

Would be great if it connected using blue tooth; useless using wifi

Since it is only possible to have one wifi connection at a time, and since iPhones & iPads won't connect to the internet if they are connected to wifi it makes the T-Box useless using with Navianics. My Navionics chartplotting app keeps saying I don't have a current account and won't let me see the chart until I purchase a current plan. I've found that if I open Navionics while connected to the internet through the cell carrier, let it stay on for a few minutes and then connect to the T-Box wifi it will work--but keeps constantly saying there is no internet connection so can't do whatever I'm trying to do. Maybe if you used the sonar phone app it would work--don't know, haven't tried it' but I got it to use within Navionics and for that it's useless since it connects using wifi.
